Introduction

Wisdom, Humanity, Technologies:From Ancient to Emerging Times

The Kindfulness Symposium 2026 brings together distinct voices from diverse fields to reflect on the evolving relationship between wisdom, humanity, and technologies.

Drawing on perspectives from neuroscience, psychology, art, anthropology, public health, contemplative traditions, and computer science and engineering, the symposium invites an open dialogue across disciplines and generations.

As technologies continue to reshape how we think, learn, relate, and live, the symposium creates a space to consider enduring questions alongside emerging possibilities — and to explore what wisdom might offer, and what humanity might become.
